webFRIS™:
Security
We understand the importance of your data
and take extreme measures to ensure the confidentiality and safety
of your data. Sewall uses a Class A hosting facility that implements
the tightest of security controls. Sewall's server architecture
is a redundant n-tiered design, with multiple servers used
to provide failover and transparent load balancing. Failover provisions
are made at the physical, data link, network and application layers.
Designed from the ground up, the Sewall system has been engineered
to tightly integrate each system component.
Key
points in providing a high level of availability include:
*
Redundant network attached storage systems for data storage
*
Redundant and load balanced servers
*
Off-line data loads and testing prior to placement on product
equipment
*
Redundant high-speed Internet access
*
Daily and weekly backups
Each user is
assigned a unique user ID and password that determines the user's
role or privilege within the application. Some users may have complete
access to the application, others may have limited access, and
others, read-only access. Roles and privileges can be defined by
each client with a high degree of granularity.
