A fundamental strength of the webFRIS application is the planning and tracking of silvicultural activities. Regardless of the activity, webFRIS provides real-time creation, modification, and completion of silvicultural data via the web. Users may create silvicultural plans one feature at a time or in bulk fashion using the batch upload module.

The batch upload module is designed for heavy lifting projects. Interoperability with third party systems allows users to take advantage of industry-standard planning and scheduling tools. The output of commonly used planning and scheduling tools can be uploaded directly into webFRIS using the batch upload module. Users can even refine the plans after they have been uploaded into webFRIS.

The entire silvicultural process has been designed from a forester's perspective with certification standards in mind. Our approach to silvicultural planning has positively assisted our clients in their certification efforts. Additionally access to planned and completed activities greatly reduces the pain associated with audit requirements.

The Query & Reports module provides easy access to the silvicultural data stored in the webFRIS database. An easy-to-use point-and-click interface allows users to construct queries and produce reports that can be exported to a variety of formats.
