Access to historical information is a valuable component of the webFRIS solution. Providing access to historical data, as compared to current data, in a centralized repository is convenient and improves the decision making process. The GIS is used to access historical data spatially and the Query & Reports module is used to search and report on historical data.

webFRIS allows users to store historical information or as many years as they desire. This data can be filtered and viewed in real time via the web from anywhere an Internet connection exists.
