The GIS Viewer/Editor module is the primary interface of the webFRIS application. This module allows users to view and edit spatial and tabular data in real time over the web. Because webFRIS is a web-based solution, no synchronization or replication of data is required. As soon as an edit has been saved on the centralized, authoritative database, others in the organization can immediately reference that update.

Standard naviagational tools can be used to maneuver easily from one geographic location or feature to another. Advanced query tools make data mining easy and can function as a secondary navigational tool.

A full featured set of editing tools allows professionals of all levels to edit spatial and tabular data. Some of the tools to which users have access include:
